What Is the Le Mans Virtual Series?
The Le Mans Virtual Series is an endurance championship created with the backing of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the organiser of the real 24 Hours of Le Mans. That endorsement is what sets it apart: teams enter under genuine motorsport names, and the driver line-ups mix professional racing drivers with sim specialists in the same car.
Races are multi-class, with faster prototypes sharing the circuit with GT cars. Traffic management becomes as important as raw pace, which is exactly what makes real endurance racing interesting to watch.

Why Endurance Sim Racing Is Different
A sprint race is decided by pace. An endurance race is decided by everything else: fuel strategy, tyre management, driver changes, and whether a team can go hours without a mistake. Broadcasts run for the full race distance, so you can join at any point and still follow the story.
The series traditionally builds towards a 24-hour finale, which is the single biggest event on the sim racing calendar and the best introduction to the discipline if you only watch one race a year.
Season Format
The calendar is built from a small number of long rounds staged at famous endurance circuits, with each team fielding multiple drivers who swap during the race. Points accumulate across the season, weighted towards the longer events.

Where Can I Watch?
Rounds are streamed free with English commentary, and because the races are long, most broadcasts are also split into highlights afterwards — useful if you cannot commit to a full 24 hours.

Want to Try Endurance Racing?
Endurance racing rewards consistency over outright speed, which makes it surprisingly friendly to newer drivers. It does ask more of your hardware than a ten-minute sprint: comfort matters when you are seated for an hour or more.
