What Is GT World Challenge Esports?
SRO Motorsports Group runs the real GT World Challenge, and this is its official virtual counterpart. Because Assetto Corsa Competizione is the licensed ACC simulator of that same championship, the cars, liveries and tracks line up almost exactly with what you see on a real GT3 weekend.
For viewers coming from real-world GT racing, this is the most familiar series in sim racing. Nothing needs translating: the Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes GT3 cars behave as they should, and the circuits are the ones you already know.

Why GT3 Is the Best Entry Point
GT3 cars sit in a sweet spot. They are fast enough to be spectacular but stable enough that racing stays close rather than fragile, and the balance-of-performance rules keep different manufacturers genuinely competitive. Races are long enough for strategy to matter and short enough to watch in one sitting.
It is also the class most sim racers drive themselves, which makes the broadcasts easier to relate to if you are learning.
Season Format
The championship runs a calendar of sprint and longer-format rounds on GT World Challenge circuits, with qualifying competitions determining who reaches the broadcast field. Teams often represent real GT3 outfits and manufacturer esports programmes.
