GETTING STARTED IN SIM RACING
How to start out in Sim Racing and constantly improve your lap times with the best tutorials, the most comprehensive guides and authentic reviews.
Getting started in Sim Racing with the right equipment is a challenge, but once you are on the track and try driving with the assists turned off, there’s a myriad of new obstacles waiting for you.
I remember too well my first steps coming from Forza Motorsport 7 to Project Cars 2 and trying to race like the pros do. Oversteering when accelerating out of the corner, sliding off on the curbs, setting the FOV right… There’s lots to do, but the links below make it interesting and fun to learn sim racing step by step.

Yorkie065
YouTuber
I discovered Matt York through his 50 (!) part tutorial series for Project Cars 2. Though parts may specifically focus on PC2 subjects, others are very helpful to learn about sim racing in general, like understanding aerodynamics or learning how to properly overtake. Of course there’s much more content than that, I especially recommend the in-depth track guide for Assetto Corsa Competizione.
